I guess you all know what life can be like; there you are sitting there quietly working out the plot to your next bestseller when it throws a little thing like rejection at you.At first, it astounds you and takes the wind out of your sails, but if you are like me, you will just pick yourself up and move on to the next thing.
Writing is a joy, and there is more to it than just getting a book published. There are many other ways to see your work in print i.e. short stories in magazines, articles, competitions etc. Look online and find out about writing competitions, as most will publish your work, if you are lucky enough to win.
Don’t give up... it may not happen overnight or next year, but you can be sure it will happen when you least expect it only if you keep working at it.
Writing must first and foremost be a joy, something you want to do.
So keep at it and have fun.
